We believe that "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God," both the Old and New Testaments, without error in the original writings; and the divine and final authority for salvation and all Christian faith and life (2 Tim. 3:16).
We believe that the Godhead eternally exists in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and that these three are one God, having precisely the same nature, attributes, and perfections, and are worthy of precisely the same homage, confidence, and obedience (2 Cor. 13:14; 1 Pet. 1:2).
We believe that Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He was the only sinless one among men. He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins, was buried and arose bodily from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high and is now interceding for us (John 1:1-14; 1 Cor. 15:3-4).
We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, and during this age to convict men, regenerate, indwell, seal, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service (John 14:16-17, 26; John 16:7-14; Eph. 1:13-14).
We believe that man was created in the image of God, but through deliberate disobedience fell into sin and therefore all men became dead in trespasses and sin. Only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and eternal life be obtained (Gen. 1:26; Rom. 5:12; John 3:3).
We believe that our redemption has been accomplished solely by the shed blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, who was made sin for us, dying as our substitute, paying the penalty for our guilt. Only such as receive Jesus Christ personally, by faith, are born of the Holy Spirit and thus become children of God (John 1:29; 1 Pet. 2:24; John 1:12). We believe that at death a child of God passes immediately into God's presence and there remains in conscious bliss until the resurrection of the body at His coming, when soul and body, reunited, shall be associated forever with Him in glory (2 Cor. 5:6).
We believe that those who willfully reject Christ pass immediately after death into a place of conscious misery until the final judgment of the Great White Throne at the close of the Millennium, when soul and body reunited shall be cast into the lake of fire, not to be annihilated but to be punished with the everlasting loss of all that gives worth to existence, eternal separation from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of His power (Rev. 20:11-15).
We believe in the personal, premillennial, and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thess. 4:14-17).
We believe that water baptism and the Lord's Supper are ordinances to be observed by the Church during the present age. They are, however, not to be regarded as means of salvation (1 Cor. 11:23-29; Titus 3:5).
